To create a research centre Midwifery Science
A research centre with a professonial chair of midwifery science, fostering a powerful and inspiring research environment for developing the knowledge domain. It will be an inspiring place where a growing number of students and lecturers can improve their skills regarding research.
Knowledge will be generated through applied and fundamental research in close cooperation with midwifery practice as well as with national and international partners in research and midwifery. Our aim is to supply current and prospective professionals in midwifery care with new knowledge, enabling them to provide better care that benefits both mother and child.
