Implementing innovations in maternal & infant care

Within midwifery there is continuous attention to quality of care. New guidelines, protocols and best practices are developed and these are often based on good scientific research. The practice requires professionals who can implement these innovations within their own work fields.

Successful implementation of an innovation requires a thoughtful and planned approach. This module teaches you to critically assess scientific theories and concepts about innovation and implementation and effectively implement them in your own midwifery practice.

You also learn to develop implementation plans at an individual and organizational level.

This module will not be offered in academic year 2021-2022.
